The JoJo Story
JoJo Modern Pets (JMP) began as an idea a decade ago by Savina Singh and her mom, Rani. JoJo, the inspiration behind the company is Savina’s dog. An American Cocker Spaniel born in India and adopted during a business trip in 2007. When JoJo was diagnosed with an immune disease and other medical issues in 2010, Savina began to research new pet products and natural alternatives in the industry. Sparing no expense when it came to the health and wellbeing of JoJo, she realized how much JoJo was not just a pet, but family. “They are our kids…. Our babies…. That never grow up. You see their faces and you can’t help but smile.” After 9 years of working in politics and technology, Savina decided to make a big change and focus on a love she had…dogs. She decided to add a bit of business sense, her style and passion to create JoJo Modern Pets.
